Formation:
Verb-dictionary form + だけは + (same) Verb-casual, past
Example sentences
覚えるだけは覚えたのだから、後は試験の日を待つだけだ。
I’ve remembered everything i could, so now all i have to do is wait for the day of the test to come.
Oboeru dake wa oboeta no dakara, ato wa shiken no hi o matsu dake da.
わたしは助けるだけは助けてやったのだ。
I did all i could to help.
Watashi wa tasukeru dake wa tasukete yatta no da.
恋愛のことは両親にも話すだけは話しました。
I told my parents everything about my love life.
Renai no koto wa ryoushin ni mo hanasu dake wa hanashimashita.
