Formation:

Verb-ますstem + かねない

Example sentences

それは衝撃の大発見であり、公になれば世界が変わりかねないものだ。
These are staggering breakthroughs that would change the world if they were ever made known.
Sore wa shougeki no daihakken de ari, ooyake ni nareba sekai ga kawarikanenai mono da.

こうして制限しないと、マスコミを相手にしゃべるだけで一生が終わってしまいかねない。
If i didn’t limit myself, i could spend my life talking to the press.
Kou shite seigen shinai to, masukomi o aite ni shaberu dake de isshou ga owatte shimaikanenai.
