Formation:

友達を駅まで送りがてら本屋に行ってきた。
I dropped my friend off at the station and also dropped by a bookstore.
Tomodachi o eki made okuri gatera hon’ya ni itte kita.

週末にはドライブがてら、新しい博物館まで行ってみようと思う。
I’m thinking of visiting the new museum while going out for a drive this weekend.
Shuumatsu niwa doraibu gatera, atarashii hakubutsukan made itte miyou to omou.

散歩がてらちょっとタバコを買ってきます。
I’m going for a walk and will buy cigarettes.
Sanpo gatera chotto tabako o katte kimasu.
